Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Frequented Southern California Coast
An aircraft hovering over a popular coastal beach suddenly began spiraling out of control, eventually descending rapidly and smashing into a line of palm groves as spectators looked on.
Recordings uploaded on social media depict the helicopter beginning to twirl over the shoreline then plunging near the border of the coast, where it gets stuck among palms and a set of stairs near the coastal road.

The Huntington Beach fire department stated five people were rushed to the hospital involving two who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the crash on the weekend.
Three persons on the road were injured. Information on their injuries were still under review.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
