Thousands Join Pro-Palestinian Rallies as Organizers Pledge to Keep Protesting

A multitude gathered in various Australian cities at rallies supporting Palestine, with organizers pledging to continue protesting after a truce agreement facilitated by Donald Trump in Gaza initially appeared to be holding.

Sydney Demonstration Gathers Substantial Attendance

In Australia's largest city, the pro-Palestine organization claimed a crowd of 30,000 had marched from Hyde Park to Belmore Park in the city center after a planned rally to the Opera House was banned by the New South Wales court of appeal in recent days.

Another organiser who filed the initial request to demonstrate at the famous location maintained that the participants could have peacefully gone to the renowned coastal site. The law enforcement official had earlier informed the legal authority that the arrangement appeared dangerous.

The organiser commented during the protest: "On each occasion the police attempt to oppose our protests or legal challenges, it wakes up a lot of people... to the need to mobilise and oppose such actions."
